So I have many pictures still waiting to be posted. But I want to get these ones out before I forget.
My friend Carlena is getting into photography as a hobby, and she took these for us this summer. I absolutely love them! She really captured us, and our children.
As an added note, we finally signed the last of the papers for the adoption. Now we just have to wait for them to be finalized and get our final court stamp. It sounds like we will be done everything by the end of January, if not sooner. I hate this waiting part.
Here is....us. There are way way way way way too many pictures to post on here. Just believe me when I say Carlena is ASTOUNDING! I can't wait for her to take more for us one day.

Where to start......(Sorry it took so long)
Life....has been nuts. And I have been way to exhausted to update this page. Every week I'll sit at the computer, ready to update....then not know what I want to write. Its not that I can't find anything....I simply have too much.
So, in an effort to somewhat catch you all up over the last few months....I'll do short blurps, with a couple pictures for each one. Which also means, another mega long post.
May brought our first attempt at camping with the little 2. And many play days at the school playground. A few trips to the zoo. And our family introduction to geocaching. (This is going to be an entire post all on its own in the near future.) And horseback riding at my friend Carol's. One very busy month.
June, brought the end of another Cadet year for Star A, and the end of the school year for Star A and Star R. I was blessed enough to be able to go on Star A's year end camping trip with school. It was amazing to be able to share that special time with her!
Just for fun, a picture through the last 3 years of cadets.
Year end school camping trip.
July....bringing us a little bit closer. My little brother came for a visit. We had our last moments with my parents dog Jazz. We had a family reunion. More camping. Some bowling. Spray park fun. Wakeride weekend. And PionEra at the local museum. Tubing at a lake with cousins. More zoo. And some geocaching again...of course. And birthdays! Star J is now 5 and Star R is now 7!
Alright. So even though I have literally hundreds of pictures....I'll stop this post now. With a mini-teaser of some fabulous family pictures we got done by my very talented friend Carlena. (This will also be a post in its own in the near future.)

Never a dull moment. (WARNING~Mega Picture Overload!)
These kids are non stop!!! They don't have an off button until bedtime. I swear I forgot what it was like having smaller kids around all the time.
The Fab Fam Osier!!!
Uncle Patch!! What a blast!
Fun on the road.
Flames Game!!
Hanging with our hosts.
SURPRISE!!!
Hello down there!
In their undies, in the best tub ever!!
Squishy Baff
Easter Dinner!
She may be a dork, but we love her!
Easter was sooo much fun this year. The innocence of childhood is such a blessing! It was so much fun to watch them do the bunny's scavenger hunt for their baskets, decorating eggs, and a fabulous family dinner. I love Easter!!
We also took the kids on a fabulous trip to Calgary. We took them to a Calgary Flames game. And to the zoo!! Our hosts were great! The kids loved meeting their Aunts and Uncles that weekend. The highlight....when Uncle Patch showed up to surprise Star A!! He drove over 10 hours and overnight just to surprise her. It was AMAZING to watch! She cried, he cried, I cried, Auntie J cried...... And the little 2 couldn't figure out what all the fuss was because they had not meet him before.
Besides all this....family suppers out, movies, sleepovers, playgrounds, and tons of play time. Our bigger family is definitely a great one! I can't imagine our lives any other way. The kids are following the "adjustment" to our family just like the textbook. I swear its a good thing we took our parenting classes, otherwise we wouldn't have been prepared. We've gone through the honeymoon phase, and now the testing the limits phase. Hopefully that means things will level out shortly. The bonus. Even if they are bad, and go to bed early....the next morning they get up, tell us they love us and vise versa, and the new day starts.
